The owners of this property had relocated to be closer to their children and grandchildren and bought an owner- improved house which was as big as they required, but still required changes to make the most of the space available and fit with the new owners’ needs for it. The owners’ desire for a strong interior design input led us to use furniture and bookshelves from their many years of acquiring books to break up the large ground floor space and hide existing structural uprights.
