Number 1 Livingstone Road was purchased in 2015 and had suffered a lot of neglect prior to its purchase by the new owners. Like many of our clients the new owners wanted to maximise the home’s long term viability as well as create a ‘wow’ space to live in. The wow space is tied to all of the other areas of this dwelling in the Southsea conservation area. The poorly built front porch changed to a lovely lead canopy, the poorly built existing dormer windows were replaced with lead- clad traditional dormers of the same size and the rear extension took inspiration from the way in which the other areas were improved.
