Following our initial visit to our client's house we were appointed to replan and extend the house. We were put in the unfortunate position that we needed to tell the client that they needed to first put right the 'bodges' before they could really get on with improving the house as they wanted if they were going to get real value for money from the property.

The sketch below was one of several which we used to talk through our clients' options. This type of fast sketching allows us to cover a lot of ground fairly quickly, which is good from progress point of view as well as being cost-effective for the client. Click on the sketch for a clearer view.
